Our governing body is committed to inclusivity and will not establish admissions criteria that exclude individuals based on protected characteristics. We ensure that our admissions process does not disproportionately affect individuals with protected characteristics, unless it can be demonstrated as a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim.

We uphold equal opportunities for disabled applicants and do not discriminate against them unless it is justified as a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim. Furthermore, we offer open events and school visits to all prospective applicants. Where needed, reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled applicants or their parents.
As part of the admissions process, the school may assess its capacity to meet the applicant’s needs through:

• A half-day visit for the applicant at the school.
• A home visit to better understand the applicant’s circumstances.

The governing body will communicate the outcome of in-year applications to parents within 15 school days of receiving the application. Additionally, the school will notify the Local Authority (LA) of all applications and their outcomes within two school days or as soon as reasonably practicable.
Once an offer is accepted, arrangements will be made for the student to begin attending as soon as possible.
